Simple Life - Summer
A celebration of all things natural and organic, this is a continuation of Laura Ashley Spring's earlier group with the same modern romantic mood. Here the colour palette consists of zesty lemons and acidic greens, softened with a pale blue on one side; while a chestnut brown mixed with soft shades of strawberry and blush, is freshened up with neutral and white. Spriggy floral print sundresses and border design skirts look great teamed with Laura Ashley indigo denim jacket, while our butterfly print chiffon blouse or linen knit cardigan give a slightly vintage feel. Silk/cottonblends, cotton voiles, printed linens and other natural fibres are key to this look.
Simple Life - Spring
This is a story inspired very much by nature and organics, using a thoroughly natural colour palette of Wheat, Cream, Denim Blue and Stawberry Pink with natural fibres. The styling is more relaxed and casual, but still with a definite feminine feel for a stylish weekend wardrobe. Broderie anglais, gingham checks and soft ditsy floral give a slightly vintage feel to an otherwise modern story for spring/summer 09.
