AW09 Launch Cushions - Orient & Norfolk
AW09 sees the launch of some vibrant and exciting stories for Laura Ashley.
Orient is an Eastern inspired story with rich gold, cranberry and black. To fit in with this story we have some great new cushions. The Ella Cushion is a beautiful oriental cushion with a mixture of silk and jacquard panels in rich cranberry and gold hues.
The Sienna Cushion is a striking floral cut pile velvet in charcoal and gold tones elegantly finished with black beaded tassels.
The press piece of this story is the stunning Geisha cushion, which features a digitally printed lady on a natural 100% cotton ground.
In complete contrast to the Orient story is Norfolk. This is a new modern country interior look that borrows touches of urban elegance to create a calm, confident home. The star of this story is the Britannia cushion which is a stylish chain stitched union jack flag in fresh tones of duck egg and eau de nil. The Hannah throw also fits into this story perfectly. This is a stylish throw with a distinctive geometric design in duck egg tones.
We also have the Hagan cushion, which is a 100% cotton, classically simple woven check cushion in duck egg hues with fringing detail on the front.

New cushions & throws in store...
AW09 sees the launch of an exciting new colour palette for Laura Ashley, which includes a beautiful lagoon colour. The luxurious Shirland throw has been re-coloured into lagoon and is available to buy online and in stores now. This is a truly luxurious throw in soft shimmery chenille with pearl details on the ends.
Also available in store are re-colourations of the Nevern and Lauren cushions in the vibrant new shade wisteria. This colour will truly brighten up any home and looks great on these silk cushions.
For a more casual look the popular Helston cushion has been re-coloured into eau de nil. This patchwork cushion has panels of stripes, checks and plain textured fabrics finished with a blanket stitch edge. And finally for those that like a more traditional look the new Venice cushion is a richly textured velvet damask in cranberry and golds finished with complimenting tassels.
